1680x1050 resolution external LCD monitor with ATi MOBILITY RADEON 9000 IGP? - mobility radeon lcd monitor
I have a Samsung Q28 with ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 IGP 128MB. The maximum resolution for the laptop is 1024x768. I want an external LCD screen on my laptop to connect via the VGA output. The external display has a resolution of 1680x1050. Is it possible with my current video card?

You need the CD that came with the monitor. Install the driver and reboot.
Then select the display properties, the desired resolution for the second monitor and it should work.
